The Stream

This picture is a painting by Leila Ashton. I have borrowed it from the Internet Google Images. I wanted to give her the credit for the picture.

I saw a vision this AM... I was squatting beside a lovely stream. I could look through that clear water and see the beautiful rocks in the bottom of the stream. They were so pretty that I wanted to hold them.

The Lord said that the rocks were our personalities and character traits. The stream has worked and worked on us and worn off the rough edges. I asked him where He was in the picture and then I saw Him ... He was the water. He was flowing over us and smoothing the rocks. Oh, Thank you Jesus!

God does what He can with us, but when we allow this work, He can do miracles with us. When the ragged edges have not been smoothed, they tear at those that we love and keep others at bay. We must allow the smoothing and loving work of God so we can rub the lives of others softly and gently, leaving a lasting touch of love.

We must want to change and improve and realize that we are a work in progress until the day we reach the Pearly Gates. While residing as a mortal on the earth in it's present form, we never reach the end of our learning process. After death, with the loss of our mortal body and change to a spirit being, we are then capable of absorbing, understanding and utilizing the remainder of all knowledge.
